positive boost? That can easily be done in normal driving. When you break-in a new motor, you suppose to vary the rpm speed and not take it redline or WOT during break in period. At least not in the early stages of break in.
At the later stages of break in, I start to shift higher rpm but not near red line. That is how I am breaking in my new Mazda I just bought. It had 7 miles on the odometer. I shift at at 3K rpm. After 400 or 500 miles I shifted around 4500 rpm and so on.
